Hey there... not sure how many remember me on here but for those who do...

I finally got my spinal fusion [and generally clear out of scar tissue from previous disectomys [sp] at the beginning of December last year and have gone from strength to strength :)
I no longer work from home... I have conquered my fears and crippling anxieties, well almost lol When I look ahead I no longer cry in fear.
I take no pain meds other than Ibuprofen, I walk my dogs everyday and have three part time jobs that I love.
I still don't smoke... that's 3 and a half years almost but best of all I have lost 6 stone in weight since Christmas :)

Life is pretty damn good :)

Brilliant news all round Lisa. Glad life is treating you well xx
divegirl we haven't 'chatted' much on AB but I was really pleased to read such a positive post from a clearly very brave lady. Well done you.
well done. Your story proves that a positive pro-active outlook can really help in the healing process. I hope you go from strength to strength.
Nice to see you divegirl & with such good news - well done indeed! :-))

Well done indeed
well done good to hear you are feeling good xxx 6 stone how????????
Welcome back. Lisa. I hope things continue on the up and up for you. It's good to see you again and to hear you sounding so cheerful and optimistic.
Great news! Well done on the weight loss and the smoking. The latter is particularly difficult, as I well know.

Well done Lisa, great news!

Ahhh thank you guys... good to see some old faces around still :)
Yes, still sat in the corner festooned with cobwebs.
but, no flies on us, hey, Mamya?
Oh no pesky flues.
Or flies.
How did you manage to lose all that weight, Lisa?
Three (three?) jobs.

I am glad that you have won some of your battles with your demons. My worse enemy lives in my skull somewhere so I can fully appreciate the progress that you have made.

Six stones is a good amount to lose also - could do with doing that myself.

:-) Give your 'little' doggies a cuddle from their friends at AB.
