onset is around half an hour

You are using sensible doses

Offset is more complex - it looks as though there is still half the dose still inside you the day after. [ Technogeeks says the half life is around 40 h ].
There is therefore a pronounced hang over effect

anyway good luck with the journey - I am sure you will have a good time when you get there, even tho getting there is stressful
As may well know, Valium is known to have some disturbing "side" effects and also very serious withdrawal symptoms. You would need to consciously factor these in against any benefits from taking it. Some people with experience of this drug are firmly against it being administered/available as they say it has destroyed long periods of the lives of the "patients" and in some cases all the rest of their lives.
i take valium, what is the downside , someone tell me as i have yet to expirience any negitive sides.
