If anyone can help it would be great ,my mobile is flat so I can't phone pharmacy. I am taking coedine phosphate from doctor but it's not having any effect today. Can I take paracetemol as we'll please. I am 70 and have COPD, the codeine phosphate doesn't affect my breathing at all .Many thanks !

Simple answer......YES.

It may even be preferable.
I'm surprised you weren't prescribed co-codamol which is a combination of the two (8mg codeine phosphate / 500mg paracetamol OTC) (16/30mg codeine phosphate / 500mg paracetamol PRESCRIPTION only).
8,10,12.8,15,20,30,60mg also depending on country of sale. I was sure they were 16mg tablets - clearly not!

Ello Eccles, nice to hear from you. I'm not too bad but this COPD gets me down,and I tend to lose interest in things. I will be popping up more often now I hope. Anyway, good to see you, hope you are well and happy. I'm off now to check my application form for the Ladies who love Sqad squad. :-))
