The tv programme is set over a lengthy period and all the mens beards are grown, as they would if they where trapped on an island. But how come you never see the womens armpits gradually get hairier, or their legs. Even if they had razors and shavers after a period of time these would be usless, so how come their legs and armpits are always nice and clean shaven. Even on programmes were women are stuck for a period of time, for example being kidnapped. Hmmm.

They have only been on the island a few days, a few weeks tops. Any salvaged razors would still be effective at this stage surely. Just enjoy the series for what it is and don't let little things like this get to you.

The series works out at approx. 1 day per episode so they've only been there a month!  Also, plenty of razers etc in the plane, which also covers the criticism of changes of clothes etc.

OK, they still would look a bit more dishrevelled but I don;t think audiences (especially american ones) would be impressed with all the ladies exposing thir hairy pits, legs, monobrows and taches!

Well I would, thats why i asked, but i guess thats just me.
Hmm kinky, but each to their own ;-)
Its not real, its all made up, honest!

Yeah, I thought that...  Also how would such a heavily pregnant woman be allowed on a plane?  And the knives - since 9/11 you're not allowed tweezers, toe nail clippers etc in hand luggage and I very much doubt they'd allow that many knives even in the baggage.

But as Mr Ix said - I'm just enjoying it for actually being a decent bit of tv - there's not a lot around at the moment.

It's quite simple, hairy men are allowed and hairy women aren't! Just enjoy the programme :)
