Is there a medical term for the 'top lip' - the fleshy triangle between the bottom of the nose and the horizontal edges of the lip?

Filtrum?
Question Author
Nope. The filtrum is the groove in the top lip.
I mean the whole fleshy triangle.
Think John Major.
My nose hasn't got a fleshy triangle outside the filtrum path...
You'd think in a man it might be the moustache zone, but probably not
just the upper lip, isn't it? As in keeping a stiff upper lip.
No, there isn't.
and if anyone has ever suffered a thick lip it's not just the lip but much of the area under the nose.
Question Author
Yeah, sandyR, the moustachey bit.
What's it called?
Question Author

I thought every part of the human body had a fancydan, sunday name
Am sure this has been a question on AB before.

Are there any parts of the human body that don't have a name?
If so, how do medics describe them?

I've got a pain in my thingumybob, just below my wotsit, but not as far up as my jimminy.

If them Romans didn't come up with a name for every part of the human body they don't deserve their empire.
