You should live life how you want to. Living life to the full is not for everyone. Some people like a quieter pace of life.
i think you should do what makes you happy - at different times in your life that'll be different things
I agree, one persons full life is another's half empty, just do what makes you happy.
Never had the enthusiasm to keep running in top gear flat out. Find it difficult to get into second most of the time. Pointless regretting not being the person you weren't in the first place, anyway.

I enjoy a quieter life and as I am not the most sociable of people the quieter life suits me better but sometimes I get to thinking maybe I should push myself to do more things with my life although I probably wouldn't enjoy it anyway
not sure why you think you should do things that you don't want to?
I did so more when i was a teenager- no regrets. Don't have the same time, money and energy now, though. And because I work alternate evenings, i actually just like to be home- especially in winter. I have the odd night out and enjoy it (and apologise as and where necessary afterwards).
As the saying goes, life is not a dress rehearsal.

Live every day as if it was your last, you never know what's around the corner.

no woofg I don't necessarily think 'I should do things I don't want to do' just makes me wonder if I will regret not doing more with my life now I am getting older
Never hurts to occasionally stray out of your comfort zone, but don't get fanatic about it thinking you're missing out. It's your best balance of the exciting new and the comfortable familiar you need to find.
younger people do have more energy, though less experience, than older ones. So if you want to try bungee jumping, it's probably best done now; you'll feel less like trying it when you're 80.
Ummmm sums it up nicely.
fruitsalad: if you found out you only had one month to live, what would you wish you had experienced that you haven't? Would you want to travel? Eat in the Ritz? Have sex with a stranger?! If you have things you'd love to experience, do them now. You may not get another chance. I never went to America in my student years when my friends invited me over. A few years later I got very bad arthritis and back trouble, and can no longer walk. I wish I had somehow found the money to go back when I was fit enough to appreciate it!
Look back now, and decide if there's anything you haven't done that you really want to do - then do it.
