My OH has high blood pressure, for which he takes tablets. It's not that high, if you can get him to relax, but his main issue that he really tenses up when anyone comes near him with a BP machine.

When I first knew him 35 years ago he used to get regular nose bleeds but hasn't had any for several years.

We came back from a holiday in US two weekends ago, since when he has had nose bleeds first thing in the morning at least every other day, plus he's had more headaches than usual, mainly in the evening.

Should I be worried? Or could it just be a side effect of the jet lag - which he suffers really badly?

No big deal. Almost certainly due to your air travel. Give it another 2 weeks for them to settle and if they don't, then see your GP.

I would be worried.

Bleeding is a sign that something is wrong. Get him to visit his GP.
Although very common, nose bleeds so regular combined with headache need checking out for the cause.

why not get one of those home blood pressure testing kits, then he can do it himself, which might stress him less
No big deal???

I hope no one dies from your advice!!!

How do you know it's 'no big deal'??
I would see a doctor personally.
I prefer them to be impersonal.
