Psybbo...thank you for that comprehensive description of your signs and symptoms, I will give it some thought. No doubt someone will give a diagnosis based on the above...........;-)

Sqad......

Is it the whole hand or is it particular fingers or thumb? Do you have similar pins and needles or a loss of sensation anywhere through your arm? Have you been sleeping badly, or using a new pillow that may cause your neck to be in an unusual position?
Some sort of blood circulation problem.
You know I love you...........;-)

OK, is there any pain.......wrist or hand?
Which fingers are involved ...if any....thumb?
Any problems in your neck?
You're just copying me now Sqad........ ;-)
Question Author
Fingers mainly and base of thumb, noticeable more in the evening, no problems sleeping. On the usual meds statins and bp tabs.
Eccles.....I know.......;-)
ANY PAIN?....how many times do i need to ask?

Sorry missed the post, arthritis of the neck diagnosed a year ago
I've had Carpal tunnel syndrome since I was pregnant with my first and I get that quiet a bit Psybbo. It's much worse when I have been doing repetitive stuff.
Question Author
NO pain
Pinched nerve in the neck or wrist perhaps?
;-)...OK.

No idea.........monitor the situation for the next 4-6 weeks.
LOL...glad I'm not paying sqad xxx

Sorry to be so vague, I have no pain, other than lower back pain when walking which was why I was sent for the X-ray, and was then told arthritis of the neck but I didn't follow that up and haven't seen Gp to discuss it
Ah! just seen your late post.....could be due to nerve entrapment from your neck.
No big deal....my advice remains the same.
Question Author
Thanks for your replies, maizie, not carpal tunnel syndrome, and to be honest feel a bit silly asking about something so trivial
Psybbo, It's not trivial to you, it must be bothering you or you wouldn't have posted a question about it.
Not your drinking hand is it, Psyb? And to annoy Sqad...acupuncture will work wonders.....;-) x
