crying tears of joy and sadness

i was wondering, do tears of joy have a different chemical composition to tears of sadness?  are tears of joy beneficial to you - are tears of sadness bad for you like stress?

I don't believe the chemical composition is different but I do believe that crying tears of sadness could be beneficial because it is the body's way of relieving stress.  I think, however, if someone is crying constantly that would be very bad on the health.
Studies indicate a deffinite and measurable chemical difference between tears caused by irritants to the eye and those caused by emotions.  Apparently, there are no references on differences of tears for differing emotions, however...
