PS. If as you say this puzzle has been on here before, I must retrospectively ask sandy if he actually worked it out, or was he cognisant of the answer beforehand. If this is the case, the award is therefor null and void, and could even possibly go to Tilly.

I think that is hardly fair, it isn't that the contestants do not want this prestigious award, it's their downright decency and honesty preventing them from doing so.
The boy could be the son of a civil partner. These days anything is possible!
