Just had a really sharp pain, below my belly button and on my right.
It was really painful and I had a wave of nausea either it. Its still hurting, but more a constant lighter pain. Just taken two paracetamol and on the sofa afraid to move.

Any ideas?

(am on my phone so replying isn't quick sorry)

I feel your pain with the fibre drinks. I wouldn't eat anything as a kid and was forced to drink those things. They are vile! The sight of a sachet makes me feel sick.

No, periods are very erratic.

Do you mean like wind? This is really embarrassing but I just had a massive pain below(felt the same as the one above) in my bottom.
That is not normal!?!
Google Mittelschmertz.

Are you constipated MM?

Some interesting links and things to look at.
I went to my doctor with the stomach tightening/swelling problem a week or so ago and he said it was IBS, but I'm not convinced.
I was supposed to go to the docs yesterday but had to rearrange the appointment as I was trying to fix the bloody fridge!

Interesting Sqad, it's not the first time I've had this pain, and I typed in Mittelschmertz pain in bottom (sorry - hate talking about stuff like this) and it seems that it is associated.

trt, I rarely go to the toilet. Once a week if I'm lucky! :-(

Er... 'thanks' :-/

It seems to have disappeared now...?
if you only go once a week then you probably are constipated
I get that sometimes. And it's usually down to the fact I need a bit more fibre in my diet, if you get my drift.

But I don't know what else I can do about it. I started taking laxatives, and although they did help me... er... go, I can't take them all the time, surely?
The doctor I went to a week or so ago gave me some fibre drink sachets. They were minging, and didn't do anything.
I eat brown everything, and plenty of fruit and water.

Maybe the swelling in my abdomen could be because of this.
I had this yesterday but on my left side, funnily enough I marked it on the calender to see if it happens next month due to that Mittel thingy that sqad suggested.
