I am now on warfarin for the first week 2mg and get my INR checked is 2mg a big dose?

No Gordie, it's not. I'm on 6mg a day and have been for four months.

Hi gordie, glad you are getting medical attention - no it's not, it's a starter dose.

Your dose will vary according to your INR, but you may be titrated up.
