I periodically suffer from trigeminal neuralgia.....haven't had it for a few months now. However, yesterday I started with this pain that is identical to it but stangley it is in my right boob! I kid you not, it is.....definitely not in my chest....definitely in my boob.
I am also under investigation at the moment as I have rather large fibroids but not taking any medication for this at present. I was given Amytriptilene for the neuralgia......would it hurt to take one?
Is there any chance you can get neuralgia in your boob?????

Thanks in advance

it probably wont hurt to take one, but just taking one wont help with pain probably
Never heard of neuralgia in the " boob".........but one should never say never in medicine...;-)

However it is extremely rare, extremely, that neuralgic pain in the breast is due to malignancy........if that is of any reassurance.
