Hi, try distraction, of any kind Miss Commando, move from the room you are in to another, try a different task, do online puzzles, take a bath, pick up the phone and chat to a friend. Anything to distract you. That's what I do. Hope you relax soon xx
Try to chill out relaxing to suitable relaxing music. Try not to spend time mulling over whatever is stressing you out. Perhaps even use your imagination to take you to a suitable relaxing environment in your mind.
I learned relaxation technique many years ago when I had anxiety problems - lie down, and consciously relax every part of your body a bit at a time, starting with your toes and going up to the top of your head. It takes practice, but it does work. Then I sleep.
