I have had the same thing happen to me! it is such horrible product.

There is a mitt called tan-off on the market I think it is online only and it is amazing! It completely removes tan and also blends which is bonus! I always have one now incase of tanning diasters.
The best fake tanning product I have ever used is Dove Summer Body, however make sure you put a little moisturizer on ankles, knees, wrists and in between the fingers, toes and feet. I am a beauty therapist and therefore have used many diverse self tanners ranging from, St Tropez, X tan, Garnier, Johnsons, and even St Mortiz. None of which have compared to this. Exfoliation is key, so if you haven't already before applying, take care to do so every few days in a shower or bath.
The colour is great, doesn't smell like a tanning product either, I love the smell to be fair, and the colour is great, not of the tango variety. Leaves skin looking sunkissed, though if you prefer a deeper colour then just simply re-apply, and at £2.55 from Boots, It's a steal!!!
Hi, some great options are lemon, tooth whitener and St Tropez Self-Tan Remover. Take a look: http://goo.gl/GHB3R Media URL: http://www.remove-fake-tan.com/blog/2012/04/21/fake-tan-remover/

It depends on how long you have been tanning
if have been tanning to long that it is kind of hard to get lighter because it killed the skin cells and now your skin would be tan.
I suggest you use body wash to wash it away and don't go in the sun to much. Just go in the sun but not too long.
it work really well with whitening your skin and help oil control too Media URL: http://www.ehow.com/how_2064840_remove-orange-fake-tan.html
