Ear Problem

I've had problems with ear wax build up for a while, been putting otex and olive oil in for a couple of weeks.

The hearing loss was getting worse, so I tried using cotton buds (I know, but I was getting desperate)

Anyway, the hearing in my left ear is now almost none, it's very sore and aching down my jaw and the side of my face.

Do you think I need to go to the docs? Or should I just leave it?

Thanks

Really wolf? Do I need to? Can/will they do anything/do they need to do anything?
that depends what is wrong, likely you have got an ear infection and impacted wax, no big deal, they can syringe it out. You might also get a lecture about shoving things in your ear lol.

I agree totally with woofgang.
ears/cotton buds. please dont :(
Sqad, that relieves my mind immeasurably ;-)
The practice nurse will syringe your ears.leave it at our peril/
Keep putting the oil in till you get seen Halifaxmum. It'll keep the wax soft for easier removal.
i had the same thing, Dr said to use oil for 2 weeks then syringe when the wax had softened, i couldn't bear to wait that long so i visited an holistic therapist and she used hopi ear candle to draw the wax out, didn't need to go to drs after that it was marvellous.
