No, various theories. hasn't happened to me for years. Used to happen a lot more when I was early twenties to thirties. Very strange experience when it does.
Don't know what causes it but it can be a real unshakeable sensation to some.

Don't they reckon that it's a delay in the synapses which means that part of the brain experiences something a fraction of a second before the rest which fools it into thinking that it has seen / heard it before...?
Yes Mark, that sounds about right from what I remember reading regarding the phenomenon.
I just know for a fact that nobody will ask about Vu Jade.
yogasun, on reading your post I realise too that I used to get this years ago and quite often but not now.... I wonder why? First one I was about 8 years old and must say last one was about 15 years ago.
