Pneumonia jab

there is some confusion as to whether I had the pneumonia jab in 2001...if I did, and I have another, would this be dangerous.....thanks for advice.....commoner.

The pneumonia vaccination runs out after 10 years. After 4 years I would have thought it would be OK to get it even if you have had it before.

I had one a couple of years ago.  My doctor said it was the only one I would need!  I suppose he was doing some mental arithmetic about my life expectancy!

Click on this commoner and you will find your answer.  Briefly, if you do have a 2nd jab the risk of side effects are minimal.  Also if a person is more at risk of getting pneumonia , they recommend getting another one after 6 years anyway.
