If I am dreaming and am woken up suddenly - i.e. by a noise or by someone I seem to get a pounding headache eminating at the top of my skull. If its by my partner in the morning or alarm clock I seem to suffer for a few hours, feeling like a hangover. If I have to get up in the night then I know that by falling back to sleep it will go away. These have happened without having any alcohol and have seemed to be more recently and ive never suffered from headaches before. Waking up naturally does not effect me....  does anyone else suffer the same?  I call it Brain-ache !

Goldheart:  You didn't ought to let this matter drift on too long.  A visit to the GP to tell wouldn't be bad.  Keep an eye on things and if possible keep notes of length of time, occurrences etc. Best to be on the safe side!
