I have a scan tomorrow morning to detect if I have a prolapse (I believe this includes an internal, sorry!) I cant find the paperwork, so should I be drinking lots of water before or will it make no difference??

I wouldn't suggest drinking lots.

What time is the appointment?
Depends on the time of your scan. I wouldn't have thought you'd have an internal as well if your bursting for a pee. It's ages since I had one and I can't remember but I think I had to drink a couple of pints of water an hour before my appointment, perhaps someone on here will know better
They like you to have a full bladder but it doesn't have to be to bursting point. The will let you empty it before an internal...

Phone the hospital, ask for the scanning department and ask them. They will have your note on file to look up whats needed.
