The Doc has given me Phorpain gel (Ibuprofen) to rub 2-5cm on an arthritic knee.not to use more than 4 times in 24 hours. Can I assume it can be put on both knees without exceeding the dose. Just another query as well . What is the difference between Arthritis and Osteoporosis as they both seem to affect the joints. Many thanks.

In simple terms:

Osteomalacia is a disease of bone.
Arthritis is a disease of joints.

Google both for an in depth explanation.

You can rub the Ibuprofen into BOTH knees 4times a day.
