I hate it when people rub their eyebrows the wrong way, or when they 'crack' their knuckles. My husband hates touching dry cotton wool, or polystyrene pieces rubbing together.

What's the most common cringe-factor among us ABs?

Yep, I'm with you on the knuckle cracking or cracking of any bones for that matter.  However, I really can't abide it when someone sucks and sucks an ice lolly until the colour comes out - that sound goes through me!!!  Eww, I shiver thinking about it
Sometimes I just can't stand holding the stick of an Ice Lolly, don't even know why.
Peach skins
I HATE people eating loudly.... dont know why but it goes through me!
The sounds of someone scrathing, not just a little scratch but when they sit there and scrath their leg or something for ages. Eeeeuuugggghhh!
Scratching on a black board.
The thought of eating an unpeeled peach
touching raw liver.
Wet clothes that are straight out of the washing machine!!!Aaargh! Needless to say it is a VERY good excuse for not doing any ofthe washing in our house lol. But if I do have to get it out I have to wear rubber gloves. Yuk
washing machine - aaargh!Ok, how do you guys get your text to wrapautomatically (<-------newbie)

The squeaky sound of ice, when a drawer gets stuck in the freezer....polystyrene cups, my nail getting caught on my sunglasses case (the case has a funny texture), and my nails catching the car paint, making a squeaky sound. When I cringe my mouth fills with saliva for some reason!! Nice!

I can relate to Chillum, I also hate ice lolly sticks.

I also hate newspaper print.

I am so with your husband on the dry cotton wool thing. There is nothing worse. I'd rather hold a tarantula than cotton wool (seriously). I get seriously slagged for my cotton wool phobia!
Ice lolly sticks for sure ( only wooden ones though )...yuck,  that feeling of the wood on your teeth is sooo horrible.then the blackboard thing,..and wet cotton wool and wet washing on long nails...horrid...and yes to noisy eaters and people grinding their teeth...gosh al I that easy to be wound up LOL
My ex-wife thought I was weird because I hated lolly sticks - It's nice to know i'm not alone!
Just can't stand touching anything made of nylon of having it next to my skin.  Ladies that scratch their legs whilst wearing tights or stockings literally makes my nerves jangle!

For some reason, I feel sick and shuddery when anyone rubs sweaty hands together.  Even if their hands aren't sweaty but mine are, I cringe - I feel quite sick just thinking about it now!
I can't stand it when a fork scrapes a plate and makes a noise like nails on a black board. I think the worse thing ever though is having wrinkly fingers, like you get when you've been in the bath for too long!! The feel of it is just horrible!!!!
Other peoples feet.

The scraping of a fork on my teeth!

Mum didn't like the feel of peach skins & sister can't hold wooden lolly sticks, she has to wrap a tissue around it. She has so often been teased about it, but will be glad to read sh'es not alone!

dmsjps - your husband and me would be very good friends, dry cotton wool and polystyrene are the worst! And foam rubber.
