Is it true that some fish can change sex?

Also I read years ago about a dog that changed sex can this happen or is it a figment of my imagintion?

yes it is true, my sister keeps tropical fish, and ive seen female swordtails change sex, they will do this when in a single sex enviroment, the process takes a couple of weeks but yes its true.

as for dogs, i think someone is having you on.
