Is there any mileage in taking half or just some of a Viagra/Cialis/Lilltle Blue pill - will it have part of the effect, and I don't mean just semi-wood!

If I have diabetes / high blood pressure, is it advisable?

12stone 62y bruv, said he got backache as it took 48hrs to wear off. He's diabetic & takes quarter tablet, when & if.
What strength of pill are you talking about?
One takes the dose that does the trick and if half a pill is fine, then just take it.

Diabetes.....no problem.
High BP could be a problem but not usually.
Sqad, if high BP could be a problem what about low BP
It'll rise to the occassion (I suspect)
I'd check with your GP first. My partner diabetic, and they used to make him voilently sick an hour or so after taking!
welshy...same applies to high or low BP......shouldn't be a problem.....but either try or ask your GP.

meg888..the sickness would not be anything to do with his diabetes.

Should the occassion ever arise (no pun intended) I would not speak to my current GP - about as useful as a chocolate fireguard (sorry painful memory) am currently in the process of seeking an alternative
welshy....just take one and see.....if it has no untoward effects, then that is your answer.....if you feel dizzy, headachy and have flu like symptoms, then don't take it anymore.
All I need now sqad is a willing participant!!!
welshy....don't look at me......;-)
Sqad, I did say a willing participant - now I was chatting up Noraq before breakfast this morning - irish redhead - passion and fire!!!!
Squad: He'd taken Viagra prior to being diagnosed without a problem, but since taking tablets for T2 diabetes, if he takes a viagra pill - he is throwing up within the hour, so no, it's not to do with his diabetes - but obviously something to do with taking Viagra whilst on other meds for T2D??
meg888....that is interesting......I presume that he is taking metformin for his diabetes and there does not seem to be a drug interaction between the two drugs. That doesn't mean that there isn't an interaction.

Let his GP know and perhaps it will be reported or at least commented on.
I went to the doctor today and he refused to write me a prescription for Viagra.
He said it would be like putting a new flagpole on a condemned building.
Redman - I am sure thats not true, but it did make me laugh ():o)
Hi DEN ! Only joking of course, not ready to meet my maker just yet ! :-))

One of the side effects of Viagra is a headache.
Every time I take one, my Partner gets a headache. !! ;-))
They give a viagra to each of the old fellahs in the nursing homes around here every night.

Not so they can have sex.

It stops them rolling out of bed during the night.
lol lol Zeuhl !!
Redman - 600mg Iburofen and report back.............(:o)
