If you've been drinking green tea for ages, and your urine has only just changed colour, it's probably not the cause.

It's more likely to be connected with something else in your diet. (e.g. it's the asparagus season. That veg is well known for doing some very strange things to people's urine!)

Chris
have you started taking vtamin pills...or any other medication?
Question Author
no Chris I cant blame asparagus not eaten any for a while, I have been drinking green tea for about a year so good point it wont be that then.

I do take vitamins Rowan but have taken them for years, i.e. cod liver, eve primrose,
although thinking about it have recently started taking vitamin B
Could be within normal limits.
Also have you been sweating in which case you could be dehydrated.
No big deal....just monitor the situation for a few days.
Phone Drs or pharmacy in the morning for advice-I've been nagged to go to drs for nipple bleeding-ignored discharge, now got this
In my experience, asparagus doesn't change the colour. It just gives off a very strong odour. However, if I am in a mile of an insect it bites me and the chemist recommended Vitamin B complex to ward the bugs off!! It worked to a degree but - as he told me it would - my urine turned a really luminous yellow! Have you had this vitamin?
It will be the vit B tablets glow in the dark gold
Question Author
yes i have started taking vit B recently
Just read the answers after I typed my reply and found out that you HAVE recently started taking Vitamin B. There you go!! Don't worry! It isn't harmful and will have no more side effects.
Yes, definitely the B vits.
