Daily disposable coloured contact lenses

Just a few queries about coloured contact lenses. Firstly, I note they only come in one size; does this mean if they're too big for my iris that I'll get a colour-overlap on the white of my eye (thus making it obvious that I'm wearing lenses?)

Secondly, in dark condition the pupil grows, and in many cases the coloured band on the lens would overlap the black pupil; what would this look like - would it just appear black, or would it look like there was a blue lens stuck to my pupil?

Thirdly, where can I buy these reasonably priced online? I already have a prescription, but can't find anything under 30 for 10 pairs (and normal lenses cost me just 20 for 30 pairs, so they're quite overpriced!)

Thank you for your advice!

I bought some prescription coloured contact lenses late last year.  My eyes are blue and I got hazel contact lenses.  I found that you could slightly see the colour of my eyes around the middle of the contact lenses (around the pupil) but when my pupils got increases my eye slight was blurred because the contacts when coloured.. not like the normal contact lenses where it doesn't matter if your pupil increases as they are clear.  I also found that my eyes were sore from wearing them after a couple of hours and the most I could wear them was for 2-3 hours.  They look nice but I don't think they are very practical and I don't think I would buy anymore.  Mine cost 17 on prescriptions and they were monthly lenses.

forgot to mention, mine were from specsavers.

i got the coloured one day acuvue and found the colour totally fake looking, the lenses too big for my iris, the lenses were totally uncomfortable compared to non-coloured dailies (like you had dirt in your eyes all the time), and i could see the inside of the coloured band  in front of my pupil (ie everything i looked at had a coloured circle round it!)

I ended up throwing them out after paying 30 for them.  waste of money, dont bother
