Has anyone any belief that these birds have a spiritual connection in the event of a loved one passing?

Nothing I am aware of unless they had specific meaning to the person who passed on....in which case if you don't normally see them or one comes to you you might feel there is a personal significance.... Traditionally it is white doves that are reputed to be messengers (I don't believe it myself)

I have heard of someone who found a white feather on her table after her husband had passed away, apparently that is a sign from the departed. Also if a bird pecks at your window repeatedly for a few days, it could be a sign that someone close is about to die. It happened to us anyway. Sorry to be so depressing folks but radiogaga you did ask !!
