Can anybody give me any tips on cleaning my denture.Of course I soak them overnight every night, but I'm begining to think the makers of that well-known cleaning tablet s/dent are adding some dodgy chemical to it and recently after an overnight soak they appear to have an unsightly green tinge to them so all I can do is to re-soak them in a small container of water/4drops of bleach for an hour. This seems to work fairly well but I'm concerned it might harm the plastic in the v.expensive american denture. Thanks

Current thinking is that removable dentures need only be cleaned with soap/water and a toothbrush. Soaking them in bleach (even diluted) is not advised as this will eventually harm the acrylic resin. Nor is it advised to soak them in that 'well-known' cleaning tablet.
I've always just brushed them, been OK for years
I give it a quick brush with my toothbrush at the same time as I clean my permanent teeth. Never ever put it into any denture cleaner and it has lasted beautifully for 20 years plus.
