What are the best milkshakes to drink after a workout? By that, I mean the really healthy ones that are really good for you and help you out muscle on and are really good. (Recipes)

In a blender, puree the fruit, milk, yogurt and wheat germ until thick and creamy. Pour into a tall chilled glass and enjoy.

You could use ice cream but the shake would be more high in calories and fattening.
a milkshake that you like, no good sinking a banana milkshake if it makes you sick, is it?
Are we talking smoothies here rather than milkshakes?

Mega healthy milkshakes, specifically for working out... etc.

p.s. I don't go to a gym yet.
Banana Protein Shake
Ingredients:


30g Protein Powder (plain or vanilla)
1 medium to large banana
8 oz. light Soy Milk
1 TBSP Linseed, Soy and Almond Mixture
1 tsp Golden Syrup
Few drops vanilla essence/extract
3-4 cubes ice
1 TBSP low fat natural yoghurt (optional depending on diet)

Throw into blender for several minutes. Solid filling shake with zero fat and PLENTY of energy. Great as a meal replacement or after workout snack.!

any of the high protein powdwer shakes will do it for you...but whey isolate is one of the easiest to absorb apparently don't buy from the high st lots of good online suppliers I use 'my protein' as they have a good flavouring system and are actually very good with deliveries but there are others too
