Does anyone have any travel sickness cures - both me and my daughter have tried accupressure bracelets and tablets but its still not helping. Is there any other ideas or any better pills than boots own brand?

They were boots travel calm tablets which have Hyoscine Hydrobromide in them - I tried one without travelling and felt so dizzy and spaced out i Just could not tolerate them at all.

Sorry meant to say thanks patricia will look in to those

Thanks a lot everyone have looked at the scopoderm but that contains the hyoscine hydrobromide so think I will have the same side affects - they were dreadful ! The stugeron sounds like a good bet at the moment so will try that along with the accupressure bands and see how I get on.
If it's travel sickness in a car then I once read that sitting on a newspaper helps but I've never had to try it myself.
Crystallised ginger, just chewed slowly. Works as well for morning sickness as for travel sickness.

Thanks again a teacher told me to sit on a newspaper - really must try it , but I can't really see what it would do other than have a psycological affect - but I will give it a go- better not wear a white skirt or else you'll be able to read the newspaper on it!!
I agree with using crystalised ginger, it`s very good. I know from experience.
