My daughter has just found a solid hard lump on her lower leg. It is about the size of two ten pence pieces. There is no bruising around the area - although when it is pressed it feels slightly bruised.
2 - 3 weeks back she did get kicked there but has had no pain or anything since.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

No but get it checked out at docs just in case
take her to the GP for advice.

i had a lump like that once after a heavy knock, it was a blood clot according to my GP who sent me home to just rub it.

But always best to get it checked out
Almost certainly no big deal and associated with her kick (subperiosteal haematoma), blood clot under the bone. Not in any way serious, but let her GP have a look.
Many other causes, but extremely uncommon.
