can you live off just fluid?

is it possible to live of only fluid, for example the slimfast shakes, i dont mean 3 a day for each meal, i mean 5-6 a day should cover the main calories and carb/protein intake. with the 2 litres of water aswell

would this make you seriously ill?

im not planning on doing this i love my food way way way too much!! tho i must admit if i could i probabilly would!!!!

any opinions?

you can but it wouldn't do teeth any good. Teeth need to bite to remain in gums

really? i didnt know that, what about those kids with that disorder cant remember the name, they basically get fed through a tube as they wont eat,

anyway im sure you could chew gum all day long lol!!!
very unrealistic diet i should imagine tho!!! lol
No problem over a short period of time, say 7-10 days maximum, but certainly deleterious to your health over a longer period...............this is of course for weight reduction.

In some medical conditions, it has to be a fluid diet, but this is supervised by a doctor and dietician.
A couple of girls I know have done a diet called Lipotrim, used to be by Dr only, now a pharmacist can prescribe it. It's basically 3 shakes a day, no food, and you can drink water or black tea. They've done it for about a month with no ill effects
