What does it it mean when the haemoglobin levels are low after breast cancer that has spread?

It basically just means that you are a bit anaemic. Haemoglobin in red blood cells is used to transport oxygen around the body and when the levels are low you may feel lethargic and dizzy - your doctor is likely to prescribe a course of iron tablets, but in more severe forms sometimes blood transfusion is required.

thank you - could it be related to the cancer?
Posssibly or as a result of drugs / chemotherapy
