I have bought a pair of fit flops today - the one's that are supposed to tone your legs and bum as you walk! Are they any good? I've read some good reviews! Please don't tell me I have wasted my money!

Well I presume you mean those MBT things. I guess they are ok, but will never give you the kind of tone most women desire. It takes hard workouts and a decent diet.
I have been wearing fitflops for 2 weeks now and there is a definite difference in the muscle tone on my thighs and bum,in fact my bum has shrunk slightly.
I have had them on pretty much constantly since I bought them so have no idea whether they would work as quickly if you only wear them occasionally.
I have had my family in fits of laughter by making them put the fitflops on and then stand on one leg,it really is difficult to balance like that in them until you get used to them. :-)

They got quite a good rating on that programme with that woman that looks at poo
ive just seen them on gmtv was they 39 pounds ?
39.00!!! Do you get glue with that to stick your eyes back in!!
Mine were 36.00 from a site called Running Bare,I even got free postage from them after they messed up my order for next day delivery, they sent me some of those little gel pads that go in toe post shoes for free too :-)
Do they do gel pads for them. As I just got some new toe post sandals and I can tell they are going to give me agony
I stopped using the gel pads they sent me after a couple of days as they just kept slipping around even though they are stick on ones, they got me through the initial agony I get when putting on toe post sandals for the first time every year though :-)
daffy. M&S do gel pads for toe-post sandals. Also other gel products to make shoes more comfortable.
Sorry daffy, meant to address the answer to 4getmenot. Bad Brain Day!!

Thanks for all the replies guys! They were 36 plus 6 recorded delivery postage from Bliss (the spa people). You do get some free samples as well! At least they don't sound like they will be a complete waste of money, although the OH had a fit!
I'm considering buying a pair. I have a pair of Chung Shi (similar to MBT0) trainers and have been wearing them for the last 2 years every day to and from work (20 mins each way) and my legs do have more definition to them. It's difficult to say whether they would look better after walking to work for 2 years regardless of the footwear, but they are quite comfortable. The first time I wore them, I felt a bit seasick though!!
I thought the fitflops might be better for the summer.

I've had the fit flops for a few weeks now. They are really comfortable, I can wear them all day will no ill effects. They aren't wobbly to walk on. I haven't noticed my wobbly bits getting any less wobbly though!
