My 16 year old son (still in full time education) was thumped by some twonk last week and his glasses got broken - they ended up in the road and got run over - so no chance of repairing them. When we went to the opticians we discovered that he is entitled to one free eye test a year. Unfortunately we couldn't find his last prescription so another eye test had to be done (we had gone to Visionexpress so that he could get new glasses quickly - we don't normally go there). So I would guess that it doesn't matter where you go you are only entitled to what you are entitled to - if you know what I mean!
