Is it that dangerous to go to the gym if you've not been sleep and you feel tired?

I have been awake since 12am and now its 3:50.. I'm feeling quite tired, heavy eyelids but wondering whether or not I should go to the gym?

I dunno about dangerous-I'm not sure I could fall asleep on the running machine! If anything it'll perk you up for a bit (then after you'll be really really tired!)
Lack of sleep could and does...

- Increase your chance of injury
- Impact on a tired immune system
- Increase the chances of infections and illness
- Reduce recovery time if you have already trained
- Increase the chance of dizzyness and fainting

Read a book, have a hot bath (No sleeping in the bath), purchase a white noise CD instead.
