Can anyone recommend anything to soothe a sore throat?
Soothers and Lockets are nice but they don't seem to help.

VICS Chloroseptic (think that's how you spell it!) it's great, sort of numbs the area too.

Was that a strange tasting green spray?
I think I remember that.
I have a packet of Boots "Sore Throat Relief Dual Action Lozenges" on my desk. They contain (Hexylresorcinol) an antiseptic and local anaesthetic. They are really good.
I have always found Lockets and Soothers a bit pants.
That spray off the ad with the green dragon...cant remember the name but tried the stuff once and its fkg fantastic
my mum uses one called difflam spray cos its prob cheaper but works just as good

go buy some its the dogs danglies

You could try gargling with dispersible aspirin and then swallowing it .Works for me!
I have found Dequacaine (think i've spelt it right) good. They are like a lozenge with aneasthetic in which numbs your throat.
