Hi - anyone out there had nasal polyps removed? Got to have mine removed this week - small op - but a bit worrying nevertheless. If you have, can you let me know how long your recovery was and if it was very painful afterwards. I've done a lot of reading up on internet but any personal experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Its nothing major not that painful...just dont blow your nose to hard after!!!! Chill Dollie stop worrying there worse things going on in the world
My husband had this a good few years ago, his was a bit more complex cos he had the bone altered as well cos it was affecting his breathing so he had to have little splints for a short time. even so he said it wasnt too bad, he's had worse footy injuries and recovery was about two weeks. He said it was'nt too painful until I took our 18mth son in to visit him. He was so excited to see Daddy he punched him in the nose! So avoid small children!
