THanks, Danny. This one is a lot easier than last week's!

4 looks straitforward
I was surprised to finish it all at one fell swoop. I'm sure Matakari won't have the usual struggle!
Question Author
NAC, She might struggle with 3 & 5.
Ah for some reason I allways thought matakari was male
Danny, the reference, old politician, was involved in last week's Spectator, so Matakari has no excuse for not getting that one!

Question Author
Oops, he is.
Question Author
Thanks NAC.
Many thanks, Dannyk13, this is what I've got
and there are only two "S", so one of my words
is definitely wrong. Thanks for pointing me in
the right direction now. I find the Telegraph cryptic
is always much more difficult than the Spectator.

5.Liver
The rest are correct.Good luck.
Thanks,dannyk13, one from 2,3 and 4 must be wrong because there are only 2 "S" given.
Question Author
My error- whigs ahould be whirl
Matakari, did you overlook/ignore my post about 3?
Many thanks, all!
Matakari, glad we managed to get you there with your wrong answers, your overlooked questions etc!
Question Author
Think he made heavy weather of it today.
Thanks, Danny - I'm used to people acknowledging questions if not answering them. I'm learning that Matakari's 'Many thanks all' covers everything that anyone has said or asked!
I think you're right about his struggle with this one, but you got him there... eventually!
Question Author
Perhaps he'll do better in two weeks time.
Thanks again, Danny. I'm not sure about making progress - 2 seems to be his lucky/unlucky number!
