Day 12 And Still Covid Positive

Hi. Recently tested positive on PCR and now on day 12 and lateral flow testing from day 5 to now are still showing positive. I still have mild cold like symptoms and a slight cough. As I’ve now passed the 10 day period am I still contagious or can I start to get back to my normal routine.

I thought that if you were still positive on day 10 you could end self isolation.I recently had Covid myself and it took until day 11 to show a negative result.

Yes, you are still infectious.

My advice is to remain at home until you produce 2 negative tests, either LFT or PCR.

That is my advice, but you don't HAVE to follow it.
