Due to being rather dozy, I have realised that I had an appointment for a chest X-Ray yesterday.?.
This was a follow up from one I had done while in hospital a month or two ago, when they found something on one of my lungs.
Do you think they will automatically send out a new appointment, or what?
Normally I get text reminders for the hospital, but not this time.

I would ring them if you have a number and see if a new appt can be given.
Phone them and ask.
At the risk of sounding like a goody two shoes, do you have any idea how much missed appointments cost the NHS annually?
I doubt they would chase you up. The NHS seem to organise itself so the patient has to do any chasing/contact. They don't even give you results unless you ask.

Maggie, yes I feel guilty over missed appointment cost, but I was over reliant on the usual text reminders.
Thank you for all your responses.
I do feel rather anxious about it.

Yes I'll take a deep breath and ring them, and expect to be told off :-(
I`d phone up and apologise. They`ll probably then offer you another appointment.
Theland don't beat yourself up, you are not a serial offender.....maggiebee be kind.
