Heartbreaking!

Got phone call this morning FIL taken turn for the worse in hospital so we got up there asap....he has been in there for 4 weeks ...the utter shock of seeing how he had deteriorated to absolutely un-recognisable took us back... once a fit burly man now just all bone and lifeless in just 4 weeks life is so cruel ...I hope he passes quickly we hate seeing him like this ...doctor reckons 24 hours if that ...heartbreaking

So sorry to read this volty.

The loss of a loved one is always so very hard, but you can only hope that the inevitable is not delayed, and the he does not suffer.


That leaves everyone else to start the painful business of assimilating the loss into their own lives. That takes patience, and lots of love and support.

I am sure you know that the AB community are good at supporting each other in difficult times, sometimes the comfort of strangers is exactly what you need to let your own feelings have an airing.

We've not heard anything so ....still with us ...sounds awful but the move must go on we've waited too long for this ..just awful timing
