i knew about the osteo arthritis in the knees but this is news to me
i went for a scan and found that the lumps on top of my feet are
arthritis based. i wonder does anyone else have this or similar, and can help with some sort of pain relief. Do you get anti inflammatories from the doctor or from a chemist?

i wonder if Sqad is around, perhaps he can advise.
I'm sure he'll see this Emmie. has the GP not offered any pain relief following the result of the scan?

hey know your other meds after all.
^ They know
Question Author
the results of the scan won't get back to the GP for another two weeks, i suppose i can call them and ask if there is anything i can take that doesn't interact with the meds i currently take.
Question Author
have called the surgery and hopefully will speak with the duty doctor who may be able to enlighten me with something i can take or do.
No osteo arthritis affects the large weight bearing joints and what better joints to support weight than the feet.
See you GP as anti-inflammatory drugs are cheaper on the NHS.
He might suggest Ibuprofen....;-)
My cousin had it in her feet... There is something called Gold that they give you for arthritis
My wife has arthritis in one of her hips. The GP prescribes Targinact tablets for her, and she says that they are very effective in minimising the pain.
Question Author
thank you for the replies, will have to wait to see what the doctor can suggest.
