I have suffered with catarrgh for a long time , I have post nasal drip, permanently ,usually it is managable, but with having the cold last week, it has flared up. It makes me cough a lot, and have trouble sleeping because of it. Last time I went to the doctors he prescribed Nasobec Aqueous, and a ventolin inhaler ,which I have been using again but it doesnt make it any better, its a very loose cough and I have to keep clearing my throat, and I feel as if my cold is still there.

You may have Silent Gerd. Look it up. It masquerades as post nasal drip.
