I have been suffering from the above condition for several years but have recently been diagnosed with depression which has made life even more difficult. I am currently trying different antidepressants but they are making my breathing very bad. I would like to know how it is best to sleep - with one or two pillows or propped up. I always wake up with a really mucky cough. Any advise gratefully received!! P !!

Sitting more upright is better for breathing. But I would ask the doctor, are you sure it's the antidepressants?
I would certainly think propped up is the best, try to acquire a support for your bed to prevent the pillows slipping down.

Hope the Anti Ds kick in soon.
Well it depends upon you.
What position gives you the best night's sleep OR do you sleep well and are just worried about your morning cough?
I feel that the antidepressants are playing little or no part in your problem.
Trial and error is the order of the day here..........
