Thyroid test readings, should I be on meds as I am extremely tired putting on weight and very down ?

Serun free T4 level 13.2
Ferum TSH 5.35

The FT4 figure is at the bottom end at the 'reference range'.

The TSH is outside the 'reference range' (at the high end).

As I read this, that might suggest hypothyroidism or, at the very least, a need for further tests:

I agree the TSH level is slightly raised, but the T4 level is well within range.
This suggests you may be at risk of developing hypothyroidism in the future.

I see that in a previous post in June Sqad has suggested you need a repeat test in 3 months.
What does your GP say? There are other reasons for tiredness and weight gain.

I have had several blood tests recently nothing showing up for the tiredness at all.
How did you get your readings? I've had an underactive thhroid for 10 and have been on medication all that time yet have never ever been told my results
