RATTER, a friend of mine who lives in Northern Ireland has told me that NI lamb is dearer than New Zealand lamb. How crazy is that?
Question Author
Vulcan, you may be right, I think New Zealand lamb is bred and shipped in such vast quantities, I doubt that the same applies to beef.

I looked into rearing my own lambs, even then I couldn't rear them cheaper than I could buy them!
Vulcan, if you had ever met a Kiwi you would know how dear there lambs are to them ;-)

I've "herd" that Ratter ;-)
Question Author
How the "flock" did you hear about that!!
New Zealand has at least twice as many sheep as it has people.( I think I heard it was 4x as many) that is why it can sell it so cheap.
I thought I saw Charlotte Church on Question Time last night?
