Cutting a long story short my partner has had 3 operations on his elbow and he is still having problems with it, He went to see the consultant today and he now wants to try something else other than another operation but my partner cant remember the name of it, He said they were going to take some blood from his arm and put it through some kind of a machine which separates it (?) then inject it back into his elbow. Sorry if this doesn't make sense but this is how he described it to me. Thanks .

that sounds like it , thank you so much for that .
It sounds like a very good procedure, let us know how he gets on.
Question Author
I will do , hopefully it will work. He has had trouble with his arm for over four years now and it is really starting to get him down now.
Chronic pain is so debilitating I know.

Its so annoying that it has got to this. After his first operation he was sent by his employer for an occupational health referral. The said it had probably been caused but his job and recommended some adjustments to the machinery he uses. His employer hasnt done them as he says they are too expensive .
That's not good.
Under the Equaity Act 2010, with respect to a disability, the employer must make "reasonable" adjustments. These he may contest on the grounds of cost and if so I suggest that you contact your local CAB and ask to discuss the issue further with a case worker specialising in Employment Law.

Thank you , I think that is a route that eventually he will he to go down sadly.
