Have had results from x ray and all ok..no sign of bone/shadow or anything that shouldnt be.. Had more bloods yesterday for the pottassium. Today doctor has requested more blood tests to check for muscle inflammation? think that was it ...he did tell me the name but cannot remember what it was. Although he did say it would take at least three weeks to get the results back? Still pain under arm and around to the back. as I said to thr doctor sometimes it feels like a trapped nerve and it makes me jump then I have to move around to get comfortable... Many thanks for all the replies I have had. Brenda xx

Thanks for the update.
It sounds like a fibromyalgia problem rather than anything sinister which from the start we thought was unlikely

sqad, can you think of what these blood test are called.? He said the name but I cannot remember it. He also said becasue my bloods where not right before and after chitsmas he wondered if it had anything to do with that.? thankyou xx
Probably Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) - one of the commoner ones to check for inflammation.

I have one a couple of times a year.

Hope they get to the root of your discomfort.
lilac....they could be anti-nuclear antibodies.

Yepp......mamy os correct....it could be ESR.
