Just joined a new gym, and im after a bit of advice, at the moment i am going swimming for 30 minutes, most mornings. but i want to add some cardio work. i am limited on time, so would i be better staying on one machine for 30min, or 2 for 15 or 3 for 10?
I know i can ask the gym staff, but i though i would ask the good people of AB first, as you haven't failed me yet! TIAx
As always many thanks thanks for your answers, i do enjoy swimming, however the monthly fee is rather a lot just to make use of the pool. so want to vary my mornings up a little.
Unlike weight training , which is best if done is "sets" cardio workouts are best if the pulse is elevated to a pre-selected target and then held there for a pre-determined time preiod, both of which will be adjusted as fitness increases... Remember, the the gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the human body and should be involved in all cardio workouts to achieve maximum heart rate with the least effort...
